So I think I'm turning into a feminist.
The more I learn about the world, the more out of focus reality seems.
It's a blur.
And I can't understand why women don't stand up for themselves.
When people hear 'feminist' or even 'female empowerment' I think they assume that someone's there to hear the cry of women domestically violated.
But what about the ones who are living the Disney lie: that a man should come sweep them off of their feet and validate them for the rest of society, and then for eternity?
What makes you so afraid?
Afraid to seize the world around you.
If you can carry another for nine months straight then surely, on your own, you can get by.

I'd like to blame 1950s husbands.... but I can't.
